Company change?

Hi All,

I have a friend working for company A on his H1B visa. By next week his employer is going to acquired by company B. What does he have to do? Will he have to transfer his visa to company B as company A is not going to exist???? Is there any special laws or immigration forms for such type of cases? Thanks in advance for your help.....
