Can an I-360 petition be filed for a religious worker (who is NOT a minister) be FILED prior to October 1, 2008 to still be considered for EB-4?
Person in question is an experienced, degreed organ-player (church services). |

Unless Congress extends, the permanent residence has to be granted by that date. Petition becomes a dead issue if not extended whether filed before or after that date, however the House already passed an extension (H.R. 5570), and the matter is now before the Senate. A coalition of religious organizations are spearheading the reauthorization effort.
